My Place have recently celebrated their 1st Birthday and have saved their clients over £70,500 in fees along the way.
My Place Property Agents celebrated their 1st Birthday last month and received many message from well-wishers. It is only through hard work, long days, late nights and determination, to offer a service people deserve from an Estate Agent at a reasonable price, that they are where they are today.
Starting from his home office last March, Anton has grown his team four fold, moved out into an office in Pebble Close Business Park and is currently looking to expand even more, needing bigger premises and even more staff. His vision was to move estate agency into a new direction, offering an unrivalled service and working from an office as opposed a highly priced shop. This was so he could keep overheads low and pass these savings onto his clients. The company originally began with just house sales, but now offers a rental option providing fully managed Lets for landlords, or tenant only finds. Both of which are on a fixed fee basis.
After recently joining Feefo (a review site) they have received 41 reviews to date, all of which are extremely positive, commending the fantastic service the clients had received. Put these together with the 24, 5* ones found on Facebook, and several more on Google, they must be doing something right, for both sellers and buyers have left equally good feedback! My Place have found that many potential vendors are looking at these reviews before instructing an agent which makes these feedback sites invaluable to both the company and the public.
My Place is looking to the future and sees the days of popping to the Estate Agent shop in town as becoming more of the thing of the past. People have more recently become heavily reliant on the internet, so with this in mind, My Place has a wide social media presence. This regularly updates people on new instructions, local news, property news, mortgage information, house ideas and tips, and anything else they feel may be relevant to their customers, proving they are there for you more than to just simply sell your house!
Over the first year, they have been instructed to and have sold just over £8 MILLION worth of property! If these customers had gone to a traditional high street agent and paid the standard 1% fee (some agents even charge higher!) they would have been paying each, on average, £1,250 more than they did with My Place! Amazing how people would still go elsewhere and pay more, rather than keeping that money to themselves to pay for a holiday or even to keep for a rainy day! If they were to add up all the savings their customers have made who have sold their property through them, it would be a massive £70,500!!!! But their aim isn’t to make the most money out of their clients, or to drive the most expensive car, it is to give them a fantastic service at a fraction of the price of a traditional high street agent.
